Bridges of Indiana believes that all people, regardless of ability, should have the right to choose where and with whom they interact in their communities. The people we support have access and opportunities to participate in a full-range of community activities, including but not limited to social gatherings, community events, appointments, errands and religious services or activities. Bridges of Indiana can provide this service individually or in a group setting depending on the participant’s choice and plan of care.
Community Integration promotes individual independence and focuses daily activities on reaching all individual goals and aspirations that someone may have for themselves when they participate in community activities. Community Integration also allows a person full access to other opportunities such as leisure, employment, volunteering and community activism.
